The other day I was discussing the History of Satan class I am currently enrolled into with another class of mine. Someone asked if there was a religion devoted to Satan which made me think about why some people might devote themselves to Satan. Every story of the selling your soul entitles the victim to power, money, fame, or something along those lines; besides this trade, I have to wonder if some might follow Satan because he allows more freedom to do as you please. This doesn't necessarily mean you commit evil acts, but you do things how you want to, for instance, drink coffee, wear poly-blends, or be openly gay. If Satan promotes equality and freedom for all, I'm definitely in.
