Lilith may be one of my favorite biblical characters. Until a recent class discussion, the only knowledge I had about Lilith came from True Blood. She was depicted as the first vampire ever created by God and that Adam and Eve were created as food or a sustenance for Lilith to feed from. The true story is that she was just like Adam and that they were created as equals but Lilith didn't exactly want to be controlled and got shamed for it and I guess is known as an ugly baby killer and lives with several demons. Either way, I love stories of strong independent women and I'd definitely put Lilith in that group.
